Teenage humpback whale Vincent protects the oceans with his mystical song, but when a plague of sentient algae – the Red Tide – threatens to devour all life, even he is powerless. Against all odds, Vincent and his friends scour the seven seas to discover lost songs that may stop the deadly foe.
